Rome’s Forgotten War

In 29BC Rome launched a war against the last rebel mountain tribes in northern Spain - the Asturians and the Cantabrians. Caesar Augustus led this campaign in person, together with his general, Marcus Agrippa, but it still took them ten years to subdue these dogged warriors. Now, archaeologists are unearthing vast amounts of evidence that this was more than conquest; it was annihilation. We plan to turn this story into a documentary film and we invite you to be part of the journey.
